A trip to Oregon is always such a treat. The natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest is the polar opposite to the desolate urban landscapes that I usually shoot.
After my recent triple model session in Detroit, I decided to try this concept with this years visit. This time the guys were all from the West Coast. They knew each other which made for a really chill experience and great interactions.

I know I probably gush a lot about my models, but considering the difficult scenarios they have to negotiate I’m always thrilled with their efforts.
Kain, Toni and Colby were not only very engaged with these locations but also very excited to explore. They even got up at the crack of dawn a couple of times to avoid prying eyes in some more visible locales.

This was a more methodical excursion too. I did my homework to find unique places that many overlook. It’s a bit more difficult considering the distance and the varying terrain.
An old coastal fort provided some really stark architecture though that played beautifully off their bodies and the surrounding forests.

A couple of beautiful waterfalls made for some choice scenes. This type of dramatic feature is barely known to a Midwesterner like myself.
But that’s the draw of this part of the country. It’s breathtaking beauty is unsurpassed while stunning features can be found if you really take the time to search.

At the end of each day their friendly rapport continued. One spontaneous evening when we discovered a small group of guys in a seaport town playing dance music at a subterranean outdoor park.
It was crazy fun! And it’s so typical of Oregon. It’s a quirky, cool kinda of place.

Their last day was spent frolicking in the warm waters of the Columbia River at a local nude beach.
So typical of their lively frame of mind, they coated themselves with river mud and posed playfully.

It’s difficult to truly contain all of the work that these guys made over 4 days. I’ll feature them individually in the future posts.
They deserve it!
