Don’t let this serious look on Armani’s face fool you… it does not represent his pleasant personality in the least, especially since he’s focusing on his best friend. These two add another great weekend session to a growing list of duo models in my portfolio.
I’ve been pretty fortunate to have some incredible combinations of men collaborating in tandem. Gabriel and Armani are my choice for this year’s Valentine’s Day.

Both hail from Washington DC where they are quite active in modern dance. Since they frequently dance together, the fusion of their creativity was pretty seamless.
Ironically, I had been in contact with them independently only to find later that they were besties. The irony of their connection is amazing. They’re a perfect combination.

I love their dynamics and their intimacy. As seasoned stage performers, they brought an emotional level to each scene – a level that only close friends would feel comfortable displaying.
Most scenes were fairly powerful with buoyant poses. But even in those languid moments, they sought to make each scene their own, emoting sensitivity and caring.

They never flinched from any location suggestion, including some remarkable poses in an old fire department training building. Hanging out several stories above the ground, they remained driven to bring emotion and dance to the forefront. Except for a slightly rickety ladder that I persuaded Gabriel to climb, they were fearless.
Likewise, they remained classically composed while facing eminent exposure at an old temple-like mausoleum. Although we did have a moment of panic when we thought we had been spotted.

It’s a pleasure to work with such professional minds. They understand the complexities of producing art and relish in it’s process.
And as gay artists, they also comprehend the difficulties inherent in creating work that applies to our community and the need to make material that is profound and sincere.

Gabriel and Armani’s unique relationship helped shape some stunning imagery, adding to an already amazing production year. I hope 2026 will provide more opportunity to work with these guys.
So happy Valentine’s Day from myself and my wonderful models! Let art be your moment of peace and inspiration.
