So this blog post will feature my overseas models individually so you can appreciate their characteristics.
I start with one of my veteran models from New York. Esteban is a treat to work with. Always happy, always positive! He brings an air of confidence and professionalism to every shoot.
This was his first overseas adventure as one of my models. He also provided a Spanish language colleague for my guide, Samuel. Esteban worked on the Lisbon/Extremadura leg of the trip.
The second model on the Lisbon adventure was Olivier. Hailing from Montreal, he worked with me last year on some amazing urban explorations in that city.
Olivier was the young convivial member of our party, anxious to explore and have fun. He was a pleasure to have on board, in spite of the fact that he has a tendency to attract biting insects!
My next model is Laurens from Germany. He was a new addition to the Porto leg of the trip. I almost had no models for my second half until Laurens kindly agreed to travel.
He is a seasoned model with multiple shoots under his belt. His ability to spontaneously adapt to the scenario was amazing! I appreciate his skills and hope I have the opportunity to work with him again.
And finally there’s Alex, a Porto native. Originally we planned to shoot, but then his work schedule became crazy. Luckily it worked out at the last moment and we were able continue as planned.
Alex has been a gem of a model. He is also another guy who rolls with the situation, modifying his actions as we go.
But in the case of this trip, the luck of both Alex and Laurens coming together lead to an affectionate interlude of unexpected consequences. Still it was a treat!
Whether posing together or separately, these boys were amazing and I am so appreciative of all the wonderful images we created.
