2025 in Review

the photographer at work in an old fortress in Portugal

In spite of the craziness in the world this past year, my creativity was at an all-time high. Another adventure to Portugal, several regional excursions and a new turn in ceramics have made 2025 exciting.

So this is my recap of the past year in photography with special thanks to all those great people who helped me along the way.

I’m proud of the work of my wonderful crew of models. Lot’s of research and preparation go into every session, so I try to make every location as convenient and comfortable I can. That reassures my guys that they can focus on their creative form with confidence.

And here’s what we made from all of this effort…

nude man standing on huge tree stump in forest gestures toward the light

nude man reclining in ornamental window opening of old building

nude man curled into ball sits in a field

nude man with arms extended in front of old windows

nude man sprawled out on stone bench

nude man dances in the setting sun in the dunes

Trying to avoid bees, spiders, ticks and sand fleas while dodging broken glass, loose rocks and rotten wood is all part of the job. On top of all that, they attempt inventive poses for the camera. My guys are great!

But I also appreciate the friendship and the fun we have along the way.

I still have much more work to share with you from last year. And I’ll cover those in future posts as we grind through the doldrums of winter.

Rest assured that I am already plotting 2026’s adventures. So stay tuned!
